About Us

Council 11139 was founded in 1993 through the efforts of several dedicated members of Ascension Parish in Chesterfield, Missouri. The Council works closely with the parish and local community, providing support for various projects and charities. Our members are active participants in our parish working to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Fundraising for Charity. When it comes to fundraising, Knights raise money via regular Bingo events, a very successful golf tournament, our Tootsie Roll drive for the developmentally disabled, a Derby Night at the Races, and our ongoing Club 150 raffle series.

Good Works. Providing service to others is done through regular blood drives and other activities. We provide helping hands for the St. Agatha food pantry in St. Louis for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter and clean up our adopted portion of Highway 40 in Chesterfield. We also serve our parish at FairAscension, Holy Thursday and the Easter Vigil, as well as with Sundays with Santa and the Easter Bunny. We honor our deceased Knights and Ladies at the memorial Mass in November and every month we help with Reach Out Sunday and help run local Felice Cuores parties for developmentally disabled adults.

Fraternity and Fellowship. Of course, Knights have fun as well, with a men’s barbecue, family picnic, night at the ballpark, football-and-chili event and parties for Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day.
